The Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act of 2014 was signed into law. This resulted in modifications to the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act and additional changes to the National Flood Insurance Program. For more info visit:

As a driven woman, Lexi left her left in California where she moved to Harrisville, MI. Lexi knew that with her two year old daughter, it would be tough to start her own business; however, she started the business at home.
Lexi has been recognized by WRNW1 for her dedication and drive to help people during a time of crisis. Within one year, her client database went from 26 to 260. With only one assistant at the time, Lexi managed to grow her company and establish a 4,800 square foot building with six employees.
Since 1999, Flood Relief Specialists assists structure owners with their mandatory flood insurance permits. They do not provide flood insurance; however, they secure elevation certificates, adjustments and eliminations.
